Halloween in Henderson 2016 | Festive Things To Do

The hometown feel is most alive during the holiday season. In Las Vegas and Henderson the true spirit of a hometown community is on the outskirts.

Every year Henderson hosts the some of the best entertainment and events during the last 3 months of the year. October, Halloween is the beginning of all these fun events. Whether it is the best costume party, trick-or-treating a spooky desert trail or running from zombies, Henderson is great at providing a festive environment for locals and visitors. Here are some of the best things to do this Halloween Season in Henderson

Halloween Zombie Run

Ditch the predicable haunted house and run for the thrill of fright at the 5k Zombie run. This apocalypse keeps you on your toes with spooky zombies at your heels.  It is wise to outsmart the ghoulish goons at this spook fest happening at Cornerstone Park on Saturday October 22 from 6pm to 9pm.

Haunted At The Ranch

If you want the haunted aura without the dash then trick-or-treating the Haunted trail at Whitney Ranch is a great place for a scary thrill. There will also be fun carnival games, pumpkin carving craft stations and a spooky haunted house.

Ghost Walk The District

The District at Green Valley Ranch gives away almost 300,000 pieces of candy each year with its fun themed events.

For the 6th year in a row The District will feature its popular GhostWalk.

Children of all ages Trick-or-treat Main Street, enjoying the festive Halloween scene that features music, special effects, a costume contests and “The Big Guy” a 20-foot ghost.

The other theme is the fourth annual Carnival of Horrors. This event is a rundown traveling themed zombie show.  These spooky characters showcase a dilapidated carousel for guests to ride as well as fun trick-or-treating throughout the carnival.

Halloweenie Dog Costume Contest

If you have a furry best friend that you dress up then be sure to show off your dogs best dressed Halloweenie Costume at the MonteLago Village Gazebo on Saturday October, 29th from 3pm to 5pm.
